5 Ways To Be A More Patient Mother

No more stress, overwhelming, hostility, or anger towards your children! Do you ever find yourself with such emotions without remembering to practice patience? I know we can all relate at some point or another.
When you lay your little one down at night and ramble through your head everything you did not get done that you hoped for that day. Let’s remember at that point in time, it does not even matter. What matters is the attention your child needs from you and the rest can wait. Whether you need time to rejoice and take for yourself to remember that and try again.
There have been many times when my daughter and I are out all day. Being out all day means a different schedule for baby.  If you have a baby that fights sleep like mine, you’ll understand. We get overwhelmed and stressed toward them and question ourselves, why did we even go out in the first place? Let’s remember, it is not their fault. They are in new surroundings and YOU changed their schedule. I forget that I have to understand and know how they feel.

We can do anything but not everything J

Here are 5 ways how you, as a mother, can practice patience daily by the military wife and mom!

How To Introduce Your Dog To Baby For The First Time

Contemplating how to introduce your dog to baby for the very first time? Worry no more!
Here's what I did:

1.      Calm down your pet- Remember, you have been gone a few days and they will be overly excited to see you.
2.      ALWAYS supervise baby vs. pet interaction- Never leave baby unattended even if it is a quick bathroom trip.
3.      Reward pets for good behavior- Reward your pet with extra treats or back rubs to let them know they are getting positive energy from you for being calm and obedient around baby.

Our biggest fear when I was pregnant was how our fur child was going to react. Because she play fights and nips at my fiancĂ© and I, I was worried she would do it to the baby as well. THANKFULLY, I was wrong! My dog, Bella, was more scared of the baby more than anything. She would not go near Olivia nor want anything to do with her. Now, they share each others toys, they play together, fight for all of our attention and keep us on our toes!
